Raffi Asdourian is an independent filmmaker, avid photographer and professional video editor based in New York City, with a degree from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Film and TV program. As a freelance editor, he has created content for ABC, A&E, Animal Planet, Bravo, Clinton Global Initiative, E!, National Geographic, The Nature Conservancy, TLC, Travel Channel, Sundance Channel and VICE. As a filmmaker he has made over twenty short films and music videos, written five feature length screenplays and is currently in development for his debut feature film "Traces". Among the short films, "Ai", which was filmed in Japanese, has been featured in over 10 film festivals since premiering in 2008, winning several awards at EgoFest. His 2004 NYU thesis film “Stranger” was featured as part of a high profile art gallery, the Florence Lynch Gallery, in a showcase entitled "Rewind" and a global online festival called Streaming Festival. "Kuragannon" a ten-minute short premiered in a Kodak sponsored student screening at the 2003 Cannes film festival. To view the work, visit the film page.
