Blitz tackles MS in Seattle
Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 1:54PM My cousin Ryan is an amazing person. He lives in Seattle and works for Microsoft and is an extremely intelligent, bright and an all around loving guy. He was also the mascot for the Florida Gators while attending college and graduated to become the mascot for the Seattle Seahawks. A little over a year ago he was diagonised with multiple sclerosis. And while sadness crept through the emotions of our family, Ryan remained strong and optimistic about this new crossroad that he faced. True to form Ryan has done something incredible and is raising awareness about MS via the national MS society. I'm flying this weekend to Seattle to be with him for the MS walk and am blown away by the support he has raised, nearly $40,000 in donations alone. If you'd like to help out, please donate to team blitz and help my cousin and others out there raise awareness. Also, check out this cool video of Ryan appearing on a local Seattle news affiliate and here's a direct link to the above video for iPad/iPhone users. Thanks!
