Shinya Tsukamoto Interview
Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 9:11AM
I love writing for the film stage. In addition to being granted access to early press screenings of movies (in plush comfortable private theaters I might add) I also get to interview some amazing talent working in the industry today, including Alex Gibney, Bong Joon-Ho and Hue Rhodes. Today I get to interview someone who I call a role model and one of my biggest influences cinematically on my approach and style as a filmmaker. He is Japanese auteur Shinya Tsukamoto, one of the most interesting directors working today. If you haven't seen any of his films, I highly encourage you to seek them out on Netflix or whatever. Stay tuned for my exclusive 1 on 1 interview by staying up to date with me and the film stage.
